X-Ray machine in packaged food

X-Ray machine is a radiation-generating/x-ray radiations device. In general these radiations are used in interventional and medical diagnosis. The usage of X-ray is now utilized in detecting the products, specifically packaged food. With the new technology of x-ray, it’s easier to detect the stainless steel, most used equipment in packaged foods. X-ray can also detect stones, bones, sugar conglomerates and glass. It is workable for things such as metal retaining clips without compromising the quality and objecting of locating unwanted objects.


Some of the challenges in utilizing the x-ray machine for packaged food are the assumption that this is not user friendly machine and would factory technicians for the maintenance of the same. The x-ray detection runs such as autopilot, the advancement in image processing facilitated this.
